Today we only had three members of the group. so I asked them what they wanted to do today. They decided they wanted to "make the marble curve."
They tried a slight curve in the track to see if the marble could make the tune.
They decided to use the blocked as bumpers for the curves.
They used the block bucket to make the stop for the end instead of a basket.
They decided that they wanted to see if the marble could go "up and then down" if the incline was high enough.
They tried stacking the ramps to make a series of drops.
The curves were were very small, but they did work.
They decided to place block at the end instead of the bucket. They tried several different blocks to see which one worked best.
Slight curves in the track kept the marble on track.
They were able to get the incline steep enough to make the marble jump the wedge and drop onto the incline.
The ramp with a "drop" and an incline to continue the speed of the marble.
Each time they tried rolling the marble it would come off the track at the curves. when this happened before they usually just mad it straight agin. However, today they tried the walls to keep the marble in place. They placed bumpers at the curves to keep the marble form bouncing off the track.
This time they decided to see if the marble would bounce off the block at the end and roll back up the ramp in the opposite direction. This prompted then to straighten the curves and try this new challenge.
They tested the marble several times to see if it would make the jump and drop each time.
They decided to try a few runs with a straight track to see if the marble would go all the way back in the opposite direction.
